PLL or External Reference - how to decide |
|
For use where high stability and good phase
noise is required.
External reference LNBs and BDCs minimize
drift to the limit of the reference
oscillator, thereby minimizing data
indeterminacy and maximizing data
through-put. The stability of the
Block Down-converter is governed by the
quality of the oscillator providing the 10
MHz Reference Signal.
External reference eliminates searching for
the satellite signal and provides immediate
lock.
This product is recommended for any
low-drift, low phase-noise applications such
as low speed
data applications and for beacon receivers.
