Bias Tee Mux
- Highpass filtered L band,
- rolloff below 900 MHz, flat 950 thru 2900 MHz
- Assures DC block to Rx port and 10 MHz port
- Bandpass filtered 10 MHz
- Low thru loss from 10 MHz input to LNB
- Lowpass filtered DC, 1 Amp capacity, 2.5 Amp maximum option for transmitters
- Any combination of 50W and 75W in/out Impedance transforms, (e.g. 75W J-1 to 50W J-2)
- Very low bandbass ripple
- Very low L band through loss
- Very high Rx port to 10 MHz port isolation, no leakage back to Rx
- Superior Input and Output VSWR
- Protects phase noise performance
- Exceptionally low insertion loss
Functional
- Will operate with LNBs, VSATs, BUCs, and Modems
- Will eliminate loss of lock and bit error rate problems caused by poorly designed bias tees and 'kluged' solutions
- Will reduce stray RF ingress into receivers/modems by filtering out all extraneous signals except the desired L band signal
- Will insure that high level 10 MHz signals are delivered only to the LNB and not back to the receiver or modem
- Will filter and condition the DC power to eliminate extraneous signals coming in through the power supply
Structural
- Machined from solid aluminum block for strength, stability, and endurance
- Allodyne finish for corrosion protection and excellent RF shielding/ grounding
- Excellent shielding and grounding
- "Back O Rack" mounting bracket for ease of installation and lead dress
- Cannon to BNC adapter cable available
- Fewer cables and connectors yields less signal degradation
- Reduces the mess of cables at the back of the rack
- Full test documentation available
- Provides stability for cables
Benefits
- Lower cost, higher quality with a one-box solution
- No labor to source, assemble and test a 'kluge'
- Custom design variations welcome
- Custom labeling requirements welcome
Flexible Solutions
An Orbital POP 10 MHz OCXO Oscillator seamlessly integrates with other Orbital SIP components such as Mux Tees, 10 MHz Splitters, Combiners, Dividers, etc, minimizing insertion loss, maximizing port to port isolation, matching impedances, and giving a choice of connectors to provide ease of installation.
Made for Professional Use, Made for Satellite
Orbital Systems Interface Products are made specifically for the satellite industry, and are designed for professional and industrial quality systems. Orbital SIP products are built for rack mounting, and for use indoors or out.
Power Supply
Orbital advises that a separate power supply be used for each power input (Oscillator and secondary package) as one power supply for both can cause extraneous signals to be transferred to the Oscillator, which can degrade its performance.
If only one power supply is desired by the customer then Orbital can provide a BNC 'T' adapter for this purpose. Please advise when ordering. But when using this option, the customer must still adhere to the 15 to 20 VDC restriction of the Oscillator.
POP Precision Oscillator Package (OCXO) Specifications
Please note that just because you do not see a product listed, does not mean that we don't (or won't) make it. Custom sizes, custom connectors, custom configurations, custom specifications, stack, plate or rack mounting, integrations of SIP components can all be done to order.

| Modem has DC power, but not enough to power my new BUC. | |
| I want to lock several modems to a single 10 MHz Oscillator, and insert high power DC to my BUC. | |
| I have a pair of modems, one of which provides a 10 MHz reference, but I don't have enough power from my modem for my new high power BUC. | |
| I have a pair of modems and I need to use the 10 MHz reference from one of them and split it. I need to take the L-Band signal from both modems and combine it with the 10 MHz reference. Now I need to insert DC power for a pair of high power BUCS. | |
| I need to combine the L-Band signals from a pair of modems with an common, external 10 MHz source, and insert power to a pair of high power BUCs. | |
| My modem does not have sufficient DC to power my BUCs, and I can't switch DC power to the BUC, what to do? | |
| We need a system that will provide us with both horizontal and vertical polarities at Ku Band. In addition, the system must offer 1 for 2 redundancy. | |
