Space-Rated Ka-band Bi-directional Amplifier (BDA)

Orbital’s Ka-band Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) integrates both low-noise receive    amplification and high-linearity transmit power amplification in a single, compact, space-qualified module. Designed for CubeSat and SmallSat missions, the BDA streamlines RF payload design by enabling full duplex operation with exceptional gain stability and spectral purity across the Ka-band.

Engineered for high reliability and low SWaP, the BDA supports a wide range of mission profiles, including Earth observation, communications, and signal-intelligence payloads. It interfaces seamlessly with Orbital’s Ka-band Up/Down Converter (UDC) to connect phased-array, reflector, or other advanced antenna systems with maximum efficiency.
